Welcome to Pejam Tools & Equipment. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website pejamtools.co.ke and any purchases made online or in person at our physical shop in Nairobi, Kenya.

By accessing our website, purchasing our products, or utilizing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updated Terms will take effect immediately upon posting to the website.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old or accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian to make purchases.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Product Descriptions & Pricing

  • Pricing Currency: All prices displayed on pejamtools.co.ke are listed in Kenyan Shillings (Ksh) and are inclusive of applicable local taxes unless stated otherwise.

  • Accuracy: We strive to ensure product descriptions, specs, images, and prices are accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur. In the event of a pricing or description error, Pejam Tools & Equipment reserves the right to cancel or modify any orders affected prior to dispatch.

  • Availability: All products are subject to stock availability. If an item is out of stock after an order is placed, we will notify you promptly and provide an alternative or full refund.

4. Orders, Payment & Cash on Delivery (COD)

  • Order Acceptance: Your order represents an offer to purchase a product. Order confirmation emails or messages do not signify final acceptance; acceptance occurs when the product is dispatched.

  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via Mobile Money (M-Pesa), bank transfer, and Cash on Delivery (COD).

  • Cash on Delivery Policy: For COD orders, payment must be made in full immediately upon physical inspection and handover by the courier. Failure to provide payment on delivery will result in the immediate return of the item at the buyer's expense and potential suspension of future COD privileges.

5. Delivery & Shipping Terms

  • Coverage & Timeframe: We offer nationwide delivery across Kenya within 1 to 3 business days.

  • Delivery Rates: Delivery is charged at a flat rate of Ksh 500 countrywide.

  • Dispatch Cut-off Time: Orders placed and confirmed before 4:00 PM (Monday to Saturday) will be processed for same-day dispatch. Orders placed after 4:00 PM will be processed on the next business day.

  • Risk of Loss: Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery by the courier service or collection at our physical store.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

  • 7-Day Return Window: Items can be returned within 7 days of delivery or store collection.

  • Zero Restocking Fee: All eligible returns attract 0 Ksh restocking fees.

  • Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed via M-Pesa or bank transfer within 3 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods.

  • Return Conditions: Items must be returned unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging with all manuals and accessories included.

7. Product Usage & Safety Disclaimer

  • Machinery, power tools, and hardware equipment sold by Pejam Tools & Equipment carry inherent operational risks.

  • Customers are strictly required to read operating manuals, observe safety warnings, and use appropriate protective equipment (PPE).

  • Pejam Tools & Equipment shall not be held liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss resulting from improper handling, misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications to any tool or equipment.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on pejamtools.co.ke—including logos, branding, text, graphics, graphics layouts, product imagery, and software—is the property of Pejam Tools & Equipment and is protected under Kenyan intellectual property laws. Reproduction or commercial use without written permission is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, Pejam Tools & Equipment shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of our website, services, or products purchased through our store.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nairobi, Kenya.
